Two months ago I put my name on a waitlist for a pair of boots that will keep me splashing in puddles all Fall long!

Our favorite wellie providers, Hunter, paired with Mr. Choo this past summer to launch a picture perfect boot for the rainy days ahead. Once you get a hold of these gone are the days of packing a pair of shoes to change in to. Like me, you'll want to be sporting these everywhere! With just a limited quantity being produced, you might want to put your name down asap! Available for pre-order at www.jimmychoo.com

The Office Gets Indian: Did You See It?

Diwali at The Office
Diwali at The Office

Even though Diwali has passed, celebrations keep on going! It’s great to see more and more of our Indian holidays being celebrated around North America, especially in our immediate communities. Hey – even Obama made a big deal!

I’ve noticed for the last couple of weeks ending October and early November, there are still a few corporate Diwali parties and dinners under way, taking advantage of the excuse to have a good ol’ Indian bash with great food, sweets, and bhangra! However, although it’s nice to see non-Indians take to the excitement, there’s obvious room for misinterpretation due to the many traditional components to the holiday.

After watching the Fall Fashion Shows and reading the September Fashion Issues it became pretty evident that deep red lipstick was THE color for fall. I must confess, I never ever gave into this trend before in the past so I decided being the NEW Sonia that I am that I would hit the streets (I've been hitting the streets a lot) of Vancouver to find the red lipstick for me.

Originally, I decided to hit up a drug store, department store and Holt Renfrew but ended up going to the Makeup Candy Store Sephora to find 3 red lipsticks, priced low - high that would get me looking all fierce and ready for fall.

Check out the video as I conquer the mighty Sephora...with help obviously.

The 3 lipsticks that were used in this video are

Beauty Beat: Perfectly Arched

Getting the perfect brow can be a task... I mean, you really have to trust your beautician enough to know that when you walk out that door, you've still got most of your brow on your face! I've learned this the hard way. I'm indian, so yes, I get them threaded. Going in, I'm super optimistic that the cute indian woman with her harmless white thread is going to take years off my life, or even a few pounds off my face. This has probably only happened twice. The rest of the times, I find myself staring in the mirror hoping that I can scare my brows into growing back!

As of this week, I've lost all the fear associated with getting my brows done and thats because I think I may have found my eyebrow angel!
